According to a new report, The Cystal Cathedral home of the “Hour of Power” and previously headed by Robert Schuller (now by his daughter Sheila Schuller Coleman) filed for bankrupcy today. They are in debt to the tune of $43 million.
Some might wonder why? I thought it was interesting that the story states, “The church was founded at a drive-in theater and attracted congregants with its sermons on the power of positive thinking.”
Who else is big on this theme? Jesus loves his children, but you don’t become a Christian for the dental plan. You study and come close to God so you can prosper in his plan. I don’t know (I never attended this church), but I know we are told to preach the gospel, the full gospel, and not just the warm and fuzzy parts.
